The Prince St. Social Ambassador Review
''Friendly staff, great lively environment, and the food is SO tasty!''
This past weekend my husband and I headed out on a special night out. I don’t know about you guys, but when it’s your birthday, it kind of turns into a week of celebrations doesn’t it. First, you do something with the family, then you do something with just your girlfriends, then you do something with your couple friends and then it’s nice to spend some one on one time with your closest loved one or maybe this is just a little quirk of mine, but somehow I think that I am not alone on this one.
So, one of the stops that we made for my birthday week festivities was with Enjoy Stevie, at The Prince St. Social. Paul has been to The Prince St. Social, but I had not - little did I know that I was going to be in for a T-R-E-A-T.
Located in central Bristol, it is such an easy location to get to, with tons of parking close by, we particularly parked at millennium square but better yet, even if you wanted a bus or an Uber - you would have no problem getting to Prince St. Social, in fact, you will be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Bristol’s nightlife, especially if you head there on a Friday as we did.
Upon arrival - our server greeted and sat us instantly, even though we about 25 minutes early for our reservation. Even though the restaurant was absolutely buzzing with tables of friends catching up, or playing Jenga, and just purely having an amazing time out, we were so impressed with how attentive our server was to us. Before we knew it he had already whizzed our drinks over to us and asked us what we had in mind for dinner. For our appetisers, I went with the grilled halloumi salad, which was on special. And Paul went with the chili beef nachos, and I have to tell you… I really enjoyed my salad. But I definitely enjoyed Paul’s nachos more… the layering was on POINT. Seriously, an equal amount of chip to cheese ratios on all layers of the nachos - it was a solid 10/10 from us.
On for our mains, I went with the Goat’s cheese pappardelle, in which the walnuts added great texture to it and Paul went with the Beef bolognese pasta, which he was super impressed with also.
All of this food left us with zero room for dessert - so you know we will have to return again to try out what The Prince St. Social has to offer in that department soon. What dish jumped out at you most in this blog post? Are you a Nacho’s fan, or more of salad kinda person?
